Khao Lak, Phuket and relocation from Ipoh to Helsinki

We relocated from Ipoh, Malaysia to Helsinki, Finland in December 2023. For once, we had pre-booked all trips beforehand as we were travling with around 10 large luggages and 2 kids (a recipe for a disaster, haha).

I had also enquired several shipping companies about relocating our luggage. However, it became cheaper to take them by air. Finnair charges around 70 EUR per luggage for the Phuket to Helsinki leg, which is quite reasonable.
It was our first time flying with Finnair’s Premium Economy class. Luckily the Premium Economy cabin was mostly empty, with just a few other passengers. Below are some pics from our flights and bus trips.
We did a 4 night stop-over at Phuket and visited Khao Lak. We stayed at The Sands, Khao Lak. This was our second time at the resort. The resort had greatly improved since our last visit. They even now had a great indoor playground for kids to have fun at. It included video games, indoor playground, puzzles, movie room, toy room, etc.
